AGE GROUP:

8 to 12 yrs old

DESCRIPTION:

This program introduces young athletes to all disciplines of Freestyle skiing.  Disciplines include moguls, aerials, park and Freeride. This program is all encompassing as far as skiing the whole mountain and introducing skiers to all of the different facets.  There is an emphasis on carving skis to be accomplished at each of the different disciplines. Competition is optional with those competitions taking place at Purgatory, Chapman Hill or Telluride.

TUITION INCLUDES:

• Nine (9) training sessions
• Total coaching time: 40 hours approximately

TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Purgatory Resort Ski Pass
• Seasonal Ski Rental/other equipment

EQUIPMENT GUIDELINES:

• Front entry 4 buckle boot
• Good Freestyle Skis
• Appropriate Length Poles
• Proper Fitted Helmet
• Well-fitting goggles and gloves.
• Appropriate jackets and pants for various weather conditions.

WHERE AND WHEN:

• Beginning Mid-December, Saturdays at Purgatory, 9:30am-2:30pm.
