DESCRIPTION:

Affectionately known as “Devos”, this freestyle introductory program is designed for the intermediate/advanced skier under the age of thirteen.  Skiers must be able to ski blue/black mogul runs. Focus will include basic mogul skiing techniques and introductory aerial and terrain park training. Includes introduction to competition in the Southwest Freestyle Tour.  Additional fees will be travel, lift tickets and lodging to Telluride SW Tour events and entry fees. No USSA or USASA license required unless competing in those events.

TUITION INCLUDES:

• Fourteen (14) training sessions

TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Purgatory Resort Ski Pass
• Seasonal Ski Rental/other equipment
• Event Entry Fees ($20-$30 per day)
• Travel Related costs

EQUIPMENT GUIDELINES:

• Front entry 4 buckle boot
• Good Freestyle Skis
• Appropriate Length Poles
• Proper Fitted Helmet
• Well-fitting goggles and gloves.
• Appropriate jackets and pants for various weather conditions.

WHERE AND WHEN:

• Starting Mid-December to Mid-March
• Training: 14 Saturdays at Purgatory
