Age Group:

8 to 18 years old

Skill Requirements:

• Be able to make parallel turns
• Have experience on black diamond terrain 
• Be able to ski with poles and have a basic understanding of how to use them

Description:

Athletes will practice skiing steep, technical mogul runs, and performing aerial maneuvers, in a controlled and efficient way. An experienced coaching staff will prepare features, facilitate practice and provide feedback on technique. Training will take place on natural and man made freestyle terrain. Athletes will be split into smaller groups based on age and skill level, when possible. USSA license only required for those who intend to participate in USSA sanctioned competitions.

Where and When: 

Chapman Hill Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30 PM. Early January- Mid March

Tuition Includes:

20 Training Sessions (Approx. 40 hours of coaching)

Tuition does not include:

• Chapman Hill Pass
• Ski rentals or other equipment
• Training at Purgatory
• Freestyle Camps
• USSA license
• Event Entry Fees
• Competition Travel Fees

Equipment Guidelines:

•  Front entry 4 buckle boot
• Good Freestyle Skis
• Appropriate Length Poles
• Proper Fitted Helmet
• Well-fitting goggles and gloves.
• Appropriate jackets and pants for various weather conditions.

Chapman Moguls Tuition Fee:
