8 to 18 years old

Skill requirements:

• Be able to make parallel turns
• Consistently ski technical, intermediate terrain
• Have experience in a terrain park setting

Description:

Athletes will practice skiing terrain park features such as freeski jumps, boxes, rails and halfpipe, with an emphasis on safe use of the terrain park and creativity. An experienced coaching staff will work with the athletes to master their tricks and improve their style and technique. Athletes will be split into smaller groups based on age and skill level, when possible.  USASA license only required for athletes who intend to participate in USASA sanctioned competitions. 

Where and When:

Group meets at the base area of Purgatory Resort 9:30am-2:30pm (One hour Lunch break) on Saturdays Early December- Mid March

Tuition includes:

•  12 training sessions (Approx.60 hrs of coaching)

Equipment Guidelines:

•  Front entry 4 buckle boot
• Good Freestyle Skis
• Appropriate Length Poles
• Proper Fitted Helmet
• Well-fitting goggles and gloves.
• Appropriate jackets and pants for various weather conditions.

Purgatory Park & Pipe Tuition Fee:

• Early Tuition Discount Price: $1080 (if registered before 10/15/22)
• Normal Tuition Price: $1200
