Age Group:

8 to 18 years old

Skill requirements:

• Be able to make parallel turns
• Consistently ski technical, intermediate terrain
• Have experience in a terrain park setting

Description:

Athletes will practice their park skiing maneuvers on boxes, rails and jumps, while emphasizing style and creativity. Utilizing Chapman Hill athletes will be able to get many repetitions on there favorite terrain park features . Coaches will prepare features, facilitate practice and provide feedback on technique. USASA license only required for athletes who intend to participate in USASA competitions. 

Where and When: 

Chapman Hill Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30-6:30PM. Early January-Mid March

Tuition Includes:

• 20 Training Sessions (Approx.40 hours of coaching)

Tuition does not include:

• Chapman Hill Pass
• Ski rentals or other equipment
• Training at Purgatory
• Freestyle Camps
• USASA license
• Event Entry Fees
• Competition Travel Fees

Equipment Guidelines:

•  Front entry 4 buckle boot
• Good Freestyle Skis
• Appropriate Length Poles
• Proper Fitted Helmet
• Well-fitting goggles and gloves.
• Appropriate jackets and pants for various weather conditions

Chapman Park & Pipe Tuition Fee:

• Early Tuition Discount Price: $630 (if registered before 10/15/22)
