DWSC is home to the Alpine, Freestyle, Freeride and Snowboard teams as well as Gromlins, our competition development program. Each team is committed to providing quality training for athletes who are dedicated to pursuing excellence in winter sports and in life through sportsmanship, friendship, team spirit, and personal achievement. DWSC serves over 250 athletes each season, and employs a staff of 60 coaches, as well as the team directors.
DWSC is a Colorado 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (84-1466141) that was set up with the aim of supporting youth in the pursuit of excellence in winter sports, as well as increasing participation in winter sports. DWSC strives to do this by providing financial, developmental, and organizational support to the athletes, their coaches, teams, and programs.
The official youth jacket for the season is the "Kid's Junior Blaster Parka (red)" or the "Kid's Junior Buddy Jacket (black)". Older athletes may opt for the Shelter Parka, Alpine Canvas, or the Championship Jacket. The Championship Jacket is a softshell and comes in an XXS.
